Landed two volunteer jobs…. One every Monday and Friday morning here at the house tutoring nineteen year old boy who lost his mom and needs to go to college. I guess we will be working on English! The other is whenever I want and it is working at the local pharmacy. Since I don’t get school credits, maybe I can focus on volunteer hours so I have less to do when I get home…

  1. Rosie, it has been so exciting watching your evolution in Costa Rica! We miss you, and it is so good to hear what’s going on there. I’m glad you’ve been able to help your friends and co-exchange folks with their various housing troubles. Looking at your interest in the medical world and in Boston, I wonder if you got to talk with your cousin Nari much in Boston about her pediatric oncology work in Boston in the hospital setting?
Big hugs and lots of love,
    Faith

  2. Hi Rosie, We were all at your house for Hazel’s bday party and you were missed and often mentioned. But lots of joy and admiration for your big adventure. When I read your blog I was reminded of the 6 months that I spent after college in Guatemala and how it so profoundly affected my life’s path. I am very happy that you have found your way.

    Warmly,

    Kevin
